It’s the least invasive of all the methods as it doesn’t require any chemicals or invasive machinery, but it can still be time-consuming and difficult to do if the stump is too large for a machine to handle. It’s also a more costly option because it requires more than just a machine — it requires a knowledgeable operator and proper safety precautions around power lines, water systems, or gas lines.
